AmScope Focusing Block Assembly for Stereo Microscopes – Coarse + Fine Adjustment, 76mm Collar, 32mm Tube Mount

Description

This focusing block provides coarse and fine focusing control for stereo microscopes and other viewing devices when used with compatible support systems such as table stands and boom-arm stands. The 76mm mounting collar accepts a wide range of microscope models from various brands. Optional adapters such as the AD-SZ76 allow single-lens microscopes designed for 50mm collars to be mounted. The block can be mounted to 32mm (1 ¼”) pillars used by popular support systems included our SAW and DAW boom-arm stands.

Unlike other focusing blocks, this model provides both coarse and fine focusing using coaxial control knobs. At low magnifications, coarse focusing is sufficient to achieve proper focus. At higher magnifications, especially when using a camera for digital imaging, fine focusing allows far more precision.
